I recently read an article about a bikini challenge. Summer has just ended in my part of the world therefore wearing a bikini may not be a good idea right now.. But the idea is getting ready for next summer.
The article talked about clean eating. At first I didn’t think clean eating alone would help you lose weight, but seeing all the photos and testimonials from people who started clean eating, I was shocked. Some had massive improvements in their bodies in a span of 4 weeks while some took a year to see results. I was intrigued. Being a chubby girl for almost 7 years now, I know first hand the joys (not) of being a bit overweight. And like those people who started the clean eating diet, I too had tried every diet program imaginable. I even signed up for a gym contract which in the end only helped me lose weight temporarily.
I guess it all goes down to what you put in your body. I can work out as hard as possible but I struggle with my eating habits. My way of thinking is, work out now so you can eat whatever you want later.. but the problem lies when I’m eating junk instead of healthy foods.
After reading the article, I thought “Why not?” Why not try clean eating and see if it works for me.. I suppose there is no harm in trying is there?
So, from May 21 (I am on holidays from May 4), I will be posting my progress on tumblr. I’m hoping to record my weekly weight loss and post my weekly clean eating food plan.
Planning IS the key. Fingers crossed : )
